You've gotta make way for The Homo Superior
I met the queen. She was hot, she wore polkadots and looked 20 years less her age and had a dashing charm to her that i didn't expect.
Man and I went to the ballet. Saw a sweet play called ElLeila ElKabira, and something horrible preceding it with a ballerino who would probably do better as a footballplayer. The prima ballerina was talended and sweet enough to carry the lead though. No pointeshoes, -dissapointed!
We also saw the norwegian play of Peer Gynt at the pyramides. Apart from the badly planned stage, translations and ovbious lack of knowledge about whats appropriate in arab culture (bald women in tights with bare shoulders mooning the audience proved norwegians once again culturally insensitive) it was actually a great experience. Great actors (with few exeptions) and a full-package experience with a fantastic orchestra and soloists.
I was really looking foreward to my silent-night pre-party when my man was here, finally done with the first midterm. Not having slept properly in several nights, i anticlimaxed on the bathroom floor and slept the whole night trough. I couldn't even blame it on the beer, i only had a few. So i missed out. They told me it had been just the way i wanted it, people chatting over beer around the livingroom table.
Babe-o went home again, but just barely as he managed to lose his passport in the airport or surrounding area, and almost missed the check-in. Pretty upsetting, i don't want to talk about it.
After that I've been drunk most of the time, seen some cool parties, and had a few cosy nights over bottles on the balcony with my mates.
As for today, i haven't smoked a whole fag in a week, but i did have a few puffs the other day (according to Annie that is, i have no recollection of such occurence) and shisha twice. Still proud!
I've decided to do another semester, just waiting for all the papers to go trough, man is in charge of that, so chanses are i'll be shipped home either i want to or not.
James Bond is hot. I never thought i'd be one of those people, but the world is changing so much i don't even know where to start.
Right now i just came home from dinner with Nate and his mate from the states, Rae, Dave and Deen who just returned from China. Good times.

This is a sunset Nile-view from the Hilton Rooftop when we met Daves parents who came in from the States last week. Another reason to love Cairo. We could even see the pyramides from there.
